How an audit runs
From schedule to signed report.
Each stage follows from the answers, so everyone can see where every audit stands.
- 01
Planned
Scheduled for a client's site, with its checklist, visit type, auditor and the site's key person.
- 02
In progress
Rated point by point on site, with comments and photos where they're needed.
- 03
Ready
Every point answered and every required comment and photo in place — nothing slips through.
- 04
Closed
Locked and signed off; the report is released. Reopening needs a reason, and it's recorded.

Questions
What audit firms ask us first.
Which standards can we audit against?
Any. You build your own checklists — firms use it for ISO 9001, ISO 14001 and ISO 22000, kitchen hygiene and hotel star ratings.
Do auditors need a laptop on site?
No. Audits run in the phone's browser, and photos are shrunk before they upload so they go up quickly on mobile data.
Does changing a checklist change past audits?
Never. An audit copies its checklist when it starts, so audits in progress and closed reports stay exactly as they were.
Who can close an audit and release the report?
Only people whose role allows it. Auditors can conduct audits without being able to close them.
Can we bill our audit fees?
Yes, with Billing in the same workspace: GST invoices, payments and reports for your fees.
We use the QMS Audit Tracker. Can we move across?
Yes. Its backups import directly — checklists, clients and audits, photos included.
