Can we use HR without Payroll?
Yes. HR works on its own for people, leave and attendance. Payroll is added when you want it, and pays the people already in HR.
Does every employee need a login?
No. Most employees never sign in. Those who do can check in, apply for leave and see their payslips with the same login they use for anything else on Iraj Core.
Do we have to track attendance?
Only if you want to. If you don't, every working day counts as present unless someone is on leave, and Payroll needs nothing more.
Who keeps the tax slabs and PF limits up to date?
We do. The law is kept in Iraj by the date it applies from, so you never type a tax slab. Your own choices, such as PF on full wages, stay settings. Your CA should still check your first run.
Which files does payroll give us?
Payslips, a bank transfer file, the PF ECR file, the ESI contribution sheet and TDS by employee and month. Form 130 and a Professional Tax return file aren't produced yet.
Can a coaching institute or a shop add HR?
Yes. HR joins whatever you already use, under the same login, and a teacher or salesperson can be the same person in both.
